Magswitch Technology, in collaboration with Euroboor, has developed the next generation of magnetic drilling technology . "The MagDrill series offers improved performance with round and thin materials and is changing the way pipe drilling and hole machining are performed," said a company spokesperson.
The MagDrill Disrupter 30 – the first machine in the series – utilizes patented Magswitch technology with additional patented tube adaptability . The magnets in the base can be pivoted , allowing them to automatically adapt to flat or curved surfaces without special attachments.
The drill bit is located within the magnetic base, allowing for higher contact pressure in a compact design. Euroboor's powerful four-pole motor combines high torque with temperature protection and quiet operation . The drill's control panel is simple, featuring a straightforward on/off switch .
A locking function in the base prevents the magnetic arrangement from deactivating during use, thus increasing safety while working .
“Compared to competing products, the MagDrill Disrupter 30 delivers better results in thin steel. Furthermore, the progressive activation of the magnetic force allows for precise positioning before the full holding force is applied. The magnet switches off completely and does not attract any magnetic residue from the drilling site,” the spokesperson said.
