Switchable magnetic welding ground clamps – the new generation
Magswitch Technology has introduced an improved product line of magnetic ground clamps .
The second generation of the Magswitch Ground Clamp series features a new fin design with an enlarged surface area, reducing temperature by almost 27% . This generation also offers higher current ratings with clamps for 300 A, 600 A, and 800 A. All clamps provide stronger holding power in both shear and vertical positions.
The improved ground clamps allow welders to quickly set up, weld, and move on to the next job . "Simply place the clamp on a clean surface, switch it on, and instantly ground yourself on flat or round surfaces ," said a company spokesperson. "These clamps can attach to surfaces where conventional clamps won't hold. Once switched on, they provide instant grounding , increasing welding efficiency and eliminating the need for weld lugs. Magswitch's all-on/off technology also ensures the clamp stays clean."

Optimized thermal management for longer service life
Magswitch engineers have further improved the design of the ground clamps using thermal analysis . The new fin design reduces the size of the high-temperature zones around the magnets.
The temperature reduction minimizes heat exposure to the magnet and extends the tool's lifespan . Thanks to the new fin design, heat is dissipated evenly through the clamp , resulting in a significantly lower handle temperature and more comfortable operation.
