Magswitch AR110 pneumatic magnetic gripper
Article number: 8140740

The Magswitch AR110 is our most powerful single-actuation magnet and ideal for projects with the most demanding requirements. Its single-sided workpiece grip and compact profile make it perfect for bin-picking applications and the development of compact end-of-arm tool designs.
The AR110 offers the deepest magnetic field in its class, enabling excellent air gap penetration – ideal for scaled, rough or forged workpieces .

The Magswitch “AR” series is designed exclusively for use with pole shoes . Each AR110 unit comes standard with a set of dual-purpose pole shoes for flat material or pipe/round material . By simply reversing the pole shoes, the V-groove can be exposed, making the gripper suitable for pipe and round material.

For optimal performance and maximum holding power, pole shoes can be individually customized. Contact our engineers for customized solutions: applications@magswitch.com

Footnotes

  1. Values determined in the laboratory on 2" (5.08 cm) thick SAE1018 steel with a surface roughness of 63 microinches and optimized pole shoes. Many factors influence the actual pull-off force and safe working load. Each application must be tested before use.
  2. All data applies to tools with flat pole shoes .
  3. Values may vary by ±5%.
  4. The stated maximum forces are not safe lifting forces . Magswitch recommends a safety factor of 5:1 for determining the safe working load (SWL).
