Magswitch E50 electric magnetic gripper
Magswitch E50 Electric Magnet Gripper
Part Number: 81401264
The Magswitch E50 features newly developed Variable Field Output (VFO) technology. This allows the tool to destack thin materials and optimally adjust the magnetic force to the respective component. Once a part has been gripped and separated from the neighboring part, the tool can be switched to full power to provide maximum holding performance.
When fully activated, the tool can also provide a “Proper Part Present” signal – a confirmation that a correct part has been gripped. This innovative function allows the user to “train” the tool what a good part should look like, creating a compact and faster process for error prevention.
With integrated fail-safe technology, Magswitch's electrically operated automation series sets new standards for modern handling and manufacturing processes.

SWL – Safe Working Load
SWL (Safe Working Load) = Max Force⁵ / Safety Factor (≥ 5)
(Note: SWL is significantly lower than the breakaway force. The safety factor must be strictly observed.)
Footnotes
- Determined under laboratory conditions on 2" thick SAE1018 steel with 63 microinch surface roughness and optimized pole shoes.
- All data based on flat pole shoes.
- Material tests conducted with SAE1018 steel plates (200 × 200 mm).
- Values may vary by ±5%.
- Maximum forces are not safe lifting forces. Magswitch recommends SWL = 5:1 for most applications.
