The Pro Vertical Featherboard is a safety attachment for table saws that presses the workpiece downwards against the table during feed to prevent kickback and rise. It attaches to ferromagnetic Biesemeyer-style parallel fences between the low-friction guide surfaces. The springs can be adjusted vertically to precisely adapt to the height of the workpiece.
For additional support, a second Pro Vertical Featherboard can be used in front of and behind the saw blade to ensure even hold at multiple points.

Characteristics

  • Fixed to the parallel fence to exert constant low pressure on the workpiece – ideal to prevent thin material from lifting or bending.
  • Ensure that non-through cuts have a consistent cutting depth.
  • Usable on both sides, depending on the position of the workpiece.
  • Can be attached centrally to the steel parallel fence or at any point on a steel table surface.
  • Compressible sealing surfaces offer excellent grip once the magnets are activated.
  • High compatibility with a wide range of stop sizes
  • Multiple featherboards can be connected together if hold-down is required at several points.
