In the Magswitch Workholding System, the Vertical Featherboard Attachment is mounted to the Reversible Featherboard Attachment, the Universal Mounting Base, or the MagJigs (all sold separately; together they form the Starter Kit). It expands the system to include two-dimensional workpiece clamping.

When attached to the Pro Table Featherboard or the Reversible Featherboard, the Vertical Featherboard can be mounted vertically from above. This creates low pressure from above, while the horizontal Featherboard simultaneously presses the workpiece laterally against the stop.
In the stacked configuration with the riser elements, a double hold is created on the same horizontal plane – ideal for tall materials.
The tool offers protection against kickback in both the vertical and horizontal planes.
